  • Formed.org

We are happy to announce a new resource for our parish in the website, Formed.org. Made possible through a gift from a parishioner, St. Joseph now has an account that will open up a variety of topics to study, read, reflect and discuss both in English and Spanish.
To set up an account, simply go to www.formed.org and click on the box  and enter code. Our parish code is VGZGPF. From there you can set up your own account and password.
The site is a great way to be inspired and transformed through Catholic movies, books and answers on our faith.

  • Continuing a journey in faith for all ages

We believe that Faith Formation starts at home as a family and continues through a lifelong journey of learning about our Catholic faith. As a family baptizes their child, they are welcomed into fellowship in our parish community. As they grow to adulthood and beyond, we continue enriching their faith journey through a variety of programs, in both structured study and informal  small groups.

Beginning with Religious Education for elementary grades, children participate in active learning through both the liturgy and Catholic doctrine. Special Basic Faith classes are also available for those preparing to receive their First Sacraments of Reconciliation and Communion.

Youth Ministers oversee Middle school and High School years, with a separate class for  becoming an adult in the church  through the Sacrament of Confirmation.

For adults who are becoming Catholic, our Rite of Christian Initiation RCIA program offers an extensive study of our faith culminating in Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation together, as the "sacraments of Christian initiation.” A branch of this is RCIT, for older youth, who have not completed their initiation sacraments.

For those wanting to grow in their knowlege of our faith, we offer Bible Study for men and women, as well as small home group study.

For information on any of these programs, please contact the Religious Education office:
